Solomon Hammond will compete in the 100m final

Solomon Hammond produced a miraculous performance to win the Heat 1 of the men’s 100m race at the Accra 2023 LOC National Athletics Invitational Championship in Cape Coast.

The young sprinter clocked a time of 10.509 to beat his University of Ghana teammate Saminu Abdul-Rasheed who finished with a time of 10.747.

Frank Mensah of the Ghana Revenue Authority placed third with a time of 11.079.
