UC’s Isaac Botsio poses formidable threat to Solomon Hammond in men’s 100m final

University of Ghana’s Isaac Botsio would fancy his chances of winning the men’s 100m final at the LOC Invitational Championship at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Friday morning.

However, teammate Solomon Kwaku Hammond stands in his way.

Botsio won the Heat 1 with a time of 10.821 seconds – almost 0.300 seconds shy of Hammond’s winning seconds in the Heat 2 contest.

Shaibu Marizuk, Richmond Opoku, Edwin Gadayi, Abdul-Rasheed Saminu, Iddrisu Musa, and Frank Mensah are the other athletes who will also compete in the race.
