Technical Sub-committee of Accra 2023 inspects works at Borteyman and Legon sites

The Technical Sub-Committee of the 13th African Games toured the construction sites of the facilities for the 13th African Games – Accra 2023, on Tuesday, 25th January 2022.

The Technical Committee, led by the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah, first arrived at the Borteyman site on Tuesday morning to inspect the progress of work on the multi-sport facility.

Contracta, the construction company in charge of the project, presented to the Technical Sub-Committee, a 3D conceptual design of the facilities under construction and also took the team through the progress of work.

The Technical Sub-committee of Accra 2023 visited the Legon and Borteyman sites last Tuesday.

After the committee satisfied itself with the progress of work done so, they then proceeded to the University of Ghana facility to ascertain the progress of work. The team inspected the under-construction competition tracks, warm-up tracks, VIP and VVIP area, rugby field, and the games’ village.

The Committee was impressed with the speed of work at the various construction sites and assured the various contractors the assistance of the Technical Sub-Committee during the technical markings of the various facilities.
