Executive Chairman Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare Wishes Black Stars Success at AFCON 2023

Accra, Ghana – In a heartfelt send-off, Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare, the Executive Chairman of the Local Organising Committee for the upcoming 13th African Games, visited the Ghana National Team, the Black Stars, as they gear up for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast. The tournament is scheduled to take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024.

Accompanied by Mr. Dan Kwaku Yeboah, the Chairman of the Media and Communication Sub-Committee, Dr. Ofosu-Asare shared messages of solidarity with the players, encouraging them to strive for glory and bring pride to the nation. Additionally, he appealed to the team to serve as ambassadors for the 13th African Games, set to be hosted in Accra, Ghana, from March 8th to March 23rd, 2024.

As the Black Stars embark on their AFCON journey, the Executive Chairman expressed confidence in their abilities and emphasized the significance of representing not only Ghana but also the upcoming African Games.
