Hon. Mustapha Ussif tours Legon and Borteyman construction sites

Hon. Mustapha Ussif, the Minister of Youth and Sports, inspected ongoing works at the construction sites at the University of Ghana – Legon and Borteyman on Tuesday February 1, 2022.

During the tour he visited the sites the construction sites for the games village for the August 2023 pan-African event as well as the athletics and rugby facilities.

The sector minister then proceeded to the Borteyman site where the other indoor sports disciplines will be held in addition to tennis and an aquatic center for swimming.

After reviewing the monthly reports from the 3 contractors, Consar for UG, Mawums for the Games village also at UG and Contracta, for Borteyman, Hon. Mustapha Ussif expressed his satisfaction with the progress of work.

Hon. Mustapha Ussif remains highly optimistic that the contractors will be able to meet the timelines for the completion of the various facilities for the hosting of the 13th African Games dubbed Accra 2023.
