The 5-member delegation of the Local Organising Committee for the 13th African Games is marketing and popularising the Accra 2023 Games in Birmingham City, which is hosting the Commonwealth Games.
The members of the delegation, led by the leader of the team, who is also the Executive Chairman of LOC, Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare, have been granting interviews with the various media houses both the Ghanaian and the foreign ones, and interacting with other participants.
The members are always in their Ghanaian attires with the Accra 2023 inscription on them which has been attracting many participants, volunteers, and onlookers to them.
Questions are being asked to the members of the delegation on a daily basis about the country, its preparations, expectations of the people of the continent, and their readiness to participate in the Games come next year.
So far the response has been enormous and vast.
The delegation also interacts with other countries that are also potential hosts. These include Paris 2024, Victoria 2026, and other countries hosting some other single international competitions.
The delegation has been exchanging ideas, knowledge, expertise, and technical know-how with the organisers of Birmingham 2022 and other participants.
The members are really spreading the gospel of Accra 2023.
Ghana has become a magnet through the conspicuous appearance of the LOC of the Accra 2023 delegation.
