LOC ATTENDS 14TH CANA AFRICAN SENIOR AND JUNIOR SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP

The Local Organising Committee of the 13th African Games, Accra 2023, was invited to the 14th CANA SENIOR AND JUNIOR SWIMMING OPEN AIR CHAMPIONSHIP at the Bukom International Pool from 11th -17th October 2021.

The event was attended by the Chief Operating Officer- Dr. Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah, Deputy Chief Operating Officer- Mr. Reks Brobby, and a member of the LOC- Dan Kwaku Yeboah on Thursday 14th October 2021. The LOC was warmly welcomed by the President of the Ghana Swimming Association Mrs. Delphina Quaye.

The Chief Operating Officer spoke to CANA media. Dr. Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah congratulated the Ghana Swimming Association and other partners for hosting a colorful championship for the first time in Ghana. Dr. Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah encouraged all athletes to give their best since this tournament formed part of the preparations for the 13th African Games, Accra 2023.  

Dr. Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah presented medals to the winners in the Men’s 800m final and exchange pleasantries with delegates from CANA and FINA.
