Mariama Fatao of Ghana Armed Forces won the Women's 400 meters hurdle

In front of cheering teammates in a conducive atmosphere, Ghana Armed Forces Mariama Fatao emerged victorious in the women’s 400 meters hurdle.

The promising athlete made a time of 1.03.965 minutes to win the race which had only two athletes competing instead of four.

Elizabeth Mensah, Fatao’s compatriot in the Ghana Armed Forces, clocked 1.04.198 – 0.0233 seconds less of the winner’s time.
