The Media and Communication Sub-Committee of the Local Organising Committee of the 13th African Games, dubbed Accra 2023, has on Thursday, December 23, 2021, conducted a media performance review of the committee’s activities before, during, and after the launch of ‘Kpojiemo’ – the logo, the mascot, and the website.

The meeting, chaired by Dan Kwaku Yeboah – Chairman of the committee, was well attended by members. During the session, the members conducted an extensive review of the performance of the media plan including a measure of the reach and engagement.

Mr. Reks Brobbey, a former sprinter who represented Ghana at the 1984 Olympic and Deputy Chief Operating Officer for the Local Organising Committee, also sat through the session.

After conducting a post mortem of the media performance, the committee further deliberated on key strategies on how to achieve a wider audience reach using digital, online, and traditional media.
